Brenda, the substrate is 12″x12″ canvasboard with a base coat of pearlescent pink acrylic paint. Discarded keys, old jewelry, beads, nails, rhinestones, etc. were used to create the nautical shell-like design. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for looking!
