Chinese painting

I spent the afternoon managing a headache and clearing my mind by grinding my own Sumi ink, a ritual enjoyed by Chinese artists I learned.
A little ground ink, some bamboo brushes, sumi paper and a few trial and error goldfish brushstrokes helped me to create a piece I am fond of.
Finally, I researched my Chinese name and signed and completed with a carved soapstone stamp.
Headache has vanished!
Also, I must give credit to Artist Henry Li for his expert instruction.
